Burger King Managers and Assistant Managers

Overview:

Training:

We are known in the industry for our excellent training program. The Jan Companies closely follows the training program established by Burger King Corporation. Due to the size of our company, we maintain a fully equipped Training Center, which is under the direction of a full-time Director of Training and also includes a full time Associate Manager of Training. When entering a Manager Trainee status, an individual embarks upon a 7-8 week in-restaurant-training program, which includes one week of classroom training. The time frame can vary according to an individual's ability to learn and their prior experience. During this phase of training, the trainee is taught all of the basics of shift control beginning with employee positions such as the cash register, drive through, and food preparation. The training phase will culminate with the solo running of shifts. Daily one-on-one follow-up is utilized during this phase of training.

Bonus:

The Jan Companies now offers a $7000 appreciation bonus to all full-time Burger King management! In appreciation of the hard work and dedication from all our Burger King management, we have established this new bonus program. What a great way to say thanks, just for doing your job! So what's the catch, right? Guess what? There isn't one! To be eligible for each bonus installment we simply require that the candidate is actively employed by us at the time of each payout for at least 6 months! This is our way of thanking our managers for being a valued member of the Janco family.

So how does it work? Pretty simple, actually! The first payment is made on the first of the month after 6 full months of employment, and every 6 months thereafter for a total of 3 years.

There is no lengthy paperwork to fill out, no contracts to sign. We want our management team to know what valuable assets they are to this company, and what better way to do that than with an extra bonus!

Requirements:

All applicants must have their own transportation and be able to work the varied hours necessary to operate a successful restaurant. Once hired, managers will work a rotating schedule which may include any combination of days, nights, weekends and holidays. The preferred candidate has at least two years of recent fast food management experience.

Newport Creamery and Assistant Managers

Overview:

Training:

Newport Creamery offers a comprehensive 8-week training program to all candidates entering the company as a Management Trainee. Due to the size of our company, we maintain a fully equipped Training Center, which is under the direction of a full time Director of Training and also includes a full time Associate Manager of Training. The 8-week time frame slated for training can vary according to an individual's ability to learn and their prior experience. During this phase of training, the individual is taught cooking procedures, basic recipes, ice cream serving procedures, basic shift management, which includes direct supervision of employees. This also encompasses learning both front of the house and back of the house operations, focusing on the details of customer service and basic administrative management functions. Daily one-on-one follow-up is utilized during this phase of training.

Krispy Kreme Managers and Assistant Managers

Training:

Upon hire into the Krispy Kreme management training program, candidates embark onto a 12-week training course. This will take them through all positions including retail, production, and safety and sanitation. They will work to exceed customer expectations, foster an ethic of teamwork, develop staff members' abilities and competencies, and help achieve the financial objective established for their assigned location. The management trainee will also learn how to direct and manage store sales efforts.

Bonus:

Krispy Kreme offers an excellent bonus program to all managers once they complete training. General managers are eligible to receive up to 20% or more of their base salary and Assistant Managers are eligible to receive up to 15% or more of their base salary. Bonuses are based on criteria established by New England Dough.

Requirements:

All applicants must have their own transportation and be able to work all shifts in this 24-hour operation. This may include any combination of days, nights, weekends and holidays. The preferred candidate has 2 years of recent full service or fast food management experience.

Depending on the applicants' location, training may be out of state.
