Each year, Jan Companies makes corporate donations to several non-profit organizations in our communities. Due to the large number of donation requests, it may not be possible to answer each request directly. Please review each corporate donation policy below.
- Educational…products are being used to support a school or school related organization (i.e. band, club, student or parent group associated with a school or educational institution.)
- Religious…products are being used to support non-profit church activities or church related organizations such as youth groups within the church.
Charitable…products are being used to support a charitable organization or benevolent cause.
- Community…products are being used to support a community based activity devoted exclusively to charitable, educational, or recreational purpose and not for profit.
- Be submitted as a typed, formally written letter and addressed to Mary Beiter, Community Partnership Coordinator, at New England Dough L.L.C.
- Be submitted via fax to 401-946-9719, or by mail to P.O. Box 8819, Cranston, R.I. 02920.
- Be submitted a minimum 30 days notice from the date received for a formal approval process.
- Your name, address, current date, date of proposed donation, contact person, phone number and fax number.
- All pertinent information regarding your event (i.e. purpose, attendance, who, what, when, why, where.)
- Your specific donation request (i.e. number of dozens requesting)
- All doughnut donations are not to be sold for profit.
- You will be notified by our FUNdraising Headquarters if your request is approved. At that time, we request that you book a time and store to pick up your donation.
- Krispy Kreme cannot mail or deliver any donations.
- Any changes or alterations to approved donations are subject to re-approval.

On May 4th, 2004 Newport Creamery raised over $12,000 for the Hasbro Children's Hospital.
Due to our annual corporate partnership, Newport Creamery can not make monetary donations. All product donations (including gift certificates, free cone certificates, or ice cream requests) should be submitted in writing to your local store manager. ) Please click here for a store near you.

Throughout the month of May until June 7th, Guests at the Jan Companies BURGER KING restaurant(s) will be invited to contribute $1 to the Jimmy Fund in the restaurants’ A Chance for Kidsä program.
This BURGER KING restaurant is joining more than 500 others in New England, eastern New York State, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania with the goal of raising $1.1 million for pediatric cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This is the fifth year that these restaurants have sponsored the program.
